This is an overdue overdue post, I guess. I've keep my hands and head (of course) off this blog because I'm actually quite busy (nah, actually its all laziness, fucking laziness!) and I guess its time to to rejuvenate it after all. Well, university is finally OVER NOW ! The long dreading arse hours that we spent in library are finally over ! (this is simply fiction, haha !) I remember......and I will always remember....the ups,the downs, the joy, the unhappiness, the happy moments... everything that words can describe moments and cannot describe moments...I will remember...and always remember !!

Sawadikap !!Ready or not, here we come Phuket. ^^

It was rocky at first I admit, but like the rocky roads (ice-cream), things will get so darling sweet without you even finish saying Phuket. haha =)

After 4++ hours of hunting and haggling from stalls to stalls in Patong that offer different prices for the same packages, we finally settled down to one that we think have the best offer. Weirdly, the atmosphere there is extremely sweltering even at night. Perhaps, we're too hot for them to handle. haha =P

Finally, we have our dinner at No. 6 (a local restaurant recommended by Nai) .

Well, the food is just ok, nothing worth to be excited about. Kinda disappointing actually, especially the weird Tom Yam with coconut milk. hurm...just weird.

Though the view is not as scenic and breath-taking as I thought it would be, the ambiance is surprisingly calming. The music of birds chirping, the leaves brushing each other when the winds blow, and the insect chattering away forms a unique serene orchestra that echos tranquilly across the bay that is surrounded with mystical shaped stone.

How do I know its popular? haha, because its a chain store, and it have lots of shop all over the island...like KFC in Malaysia. Due to our good Asian looks, we are mistakenly for being Japanese ...or he's just being friendly??. Anyway, he suggested not only dinner but breakfast for us as well. Both meals are superbly scrumptious !!

The air is undoubtedly cool and fresh

Its true we don't know what we have, till it's gone. Looking at picture of us and realizing I have not been a good friend after all. Sorry ! I'm really really sorry, I don't know how to put these in words, but it really takes a lot of me to finally confess it to Kheng about what I have done and shouldn't done. but Still, until this moment I can't overlook that awkward moment. Being honest, I'm so sorry for being so detached with you , ThiamSeng. Five years, wasn't a long period, but it ain't short as well really do us apart ! Perhaps the cynical me was not able to grin and bear the gap built between us. It's me....it's all me I know.I thought time will be the solution, but who knows time isn't our luxury after all.

To be honest, all this while I did not know that there was such a big lake hidden inside the hustle bustle town of Puchong.Asian WaterSport Village, a non-profitable (they claim lah), organisation which aim to provide the best water sport at affordable price.

Among the water activities offered are :

Kayaking

Banana Boat

2 - people float

4-people float

you can go superman style

i was so defeated, wtf !!!

Basically all the games are similar, the difference are only the number of players. One just have to hold on tight to whatever there is, sit back and enjoy the thrilling ride without any safety belt on!!!......letting go actually make it more thrilling, but do you have the balls do let go?? haha XD

If thrill is not what you seek, well just sit back, relax and enjoy at the garden spa. Disappointingly, the garden spa can only accommodate a few patrons at a time, and there is no privacy....perhaps, some privacy??

The garden spa, can be utilized once you checked in (normal check in time, around 2pm) till 10pm, meanwhile the water sport is only accessible around 4.00pm till 7.00pm.It may sound short, but trust me..its more than enough !!!

Daraoe,an authentic Korean Restaurant that has successfully established their name as one of the must go restaurant if one is looking for authentic Korean cuisine, and even have several branches all over the city ( Puchong, Kota Damansara, Sri Hartamas, etc.)

Well, as for the Puchong branch the place wasn't as spacious as I thought it would be. Expectedly, the crowd is overwhelming, especially its new year eve night and the tiny restaurant wasn't helping much. The waiting wasn't such a big deal, but the service provide during the waiting....God, for the price I'm paying for the food, can you please show us some manners when I'm asking you some question? Damn !!!

We manage to get the table that practically sit on the floor and I don't know that Korean eat on the floor like the Japanese, haha =) FYI, you have to take ur shoes off, so make sure you wear your clean socks. (luckily, I did =P )

According to our Korean Food Expert (Ms. Evonne, Wong), once we landed our butt on the floor we shall be bombarded with all sorts of complimentary or Free Of Charge bottomless side dishes.Sadly, the service was really awful that day..we got nothing, but an empty table!!!!! I wish we have have been pampered better.

Well, for the beef I just tasted tiny little bit, and what more to say for my favorite pork (delicious), and for the marinated mutton...Oh My God, Oh My God !!! You just have to try it yourselves!!!Personally, I preferred the marinated more, as the flavor is more aromatic, and juicy !!!

left : weird strongly taste sauce.. (mixture of ......i don't know also)

Another palatable dish that will make you have an extra bowl of rice, seriously.I wanted to order, but RM5 per bowl kinda hold me back for awhile, haha!!! The rice cake is chewy,the sauce is sweet with tingling sensation of spiciness and there's an egg hidden it it (KaiYee found it and ate it quietly, haha)!!

Korean Noodle, bean curd, pork, cabbage/lettuce all simmered in a big pot of spicy Kimchi soup. Yeah, this alone can be dinner itself...but with Evonne and CheeYeong this is just a starter, seriously. haha...Basically it's just like a giant pot of Korean Kimchi Flavor Instant Noodle with crowded ingredient! The soup is amazing!!!

It is one of the month again, where my affluent best friends studying abroad, fly back to have their holidays.This time around is Mr. Kaiyee, the rich-boy-who-hides-behind-shred-clothes.

MaLacCa aGain??

As usual, we have chicken rice ball for our lunch there (ntg. so special to write about ) !! =P. Then we move on to a warmly home-like decorated Baba&Nyonya restaurant.

Its my 1st time there, and according to our Mr. Guide(Tao Yao Kheng), the cendol is one of the best that Malacca can offer.

Dissapointly, the taste is quite blunt for a sweet tooth person like me. The mild sweetness wasnt satisfying enough. Perhaps more gula Melaka?? haha....

Another BabaNyonya dish that caught my attention is the Ayam Pongteh (Thanks to the Singapore's drama- The Little Nyonya). Basically, its tasted a lot like Soy Sauce Chicken, just that there are chunky pieces of potato, yam & mushroom compared to the normal Soy Suce Chicken

Then there is also Tauke Rojak...quite plain i would said. emm....Nothing more, just normal plain.

The trip wouldnt be complete if Jonker Street is not included....

Somewhere in the middle of the street, lies a hawker stall that has been popularized by Ho Chiak. Thanks to Ho Chiak, the hawker ever since then has been a hit to both tourist and the locals i suppose. The cendol there on the contrary is too sweet....till there is a bitter taste on the gula Melaka.

This is my 1st attempt in tasting the delicious layer cake that Evonne kept lamenting about. Yes, it live up to the standard*the cake is quite pricey, you see*. You can actually feel the layer of the layer cake*what am i crapping??!!*,making it such a surprise compared to other normals cake out there. Personally, i prefer the original flavour among the 5 we have.

I would say, you have to be a local to find this store and actually stop by to taste it. Simply because, its located by the road side and you'll actually drive pass it easily without paying much attention to the low profile hawker.

The ice-blended coconut. Refreshing and sweet,defninately a blast on a sunny afternoon.The ice cream is essential in giving the coconut shake a sweet taste. Sweet !!!

For dinner...Satay Celup is a Must Try local steamboat. There are a few of them that offer quite good Satay sauce...but personally I still prefer the old Capital !!! Go Go Go ~ ~ ~

Its my 3rd visit there...yet every visit brings different surprises, different fond memories, different experiences that lingers on till today !!

Ok nevermind I wait...........2nd flush, walao..the water pressure is like ant bite..how to be successful like that.....finally the 4th flush..can you imagine how long I have to stand and wait there..... !!! wtf !!

Its that BIG business time again...around same time, definately same place. So this time I was more clever (i thought lah), i choose the other lot..hoping finally I can setlle my BIG business fast and efficient this time. SHIT...fucking worst. Screw the damn toilet bowl, screw you flush. This time its stuck...Holy Molly it scared the living crap out of me when I flush and the water level keep coming up...I soooo scared the soup will spill out of the bowl !!! ...I dont know wot to do....then.....

Perhaps its the age ,the excitement, enthusiam and craze of welcoming the new year seem to be dying, fading bit by bit. The crowd dwindling, ecstasy tumbling, hopes sunking. To be honest, i havent even have my resolution organized, worstly even thought about it.

The Tau Foo Fa there is good =) probaly handmade, though the texture wasnt all silky like the usual we have...it still taste good good =) However, the Yao Cha Guai there is supermodel skinny...

Then we took the MRT to Chinatown ( The weather want pleasant that day, was drizzling)...

It only took us minutes to reach Chinatown, well the MRT efficiency there is way higher than Malaysia. The weather wasnt on our side when we reach there...Dark clouds forming and droplets of water started to fall...Still, the pouring doesnt stop us from, tasting the famous (according to Kuku Koh KaiYee)

Day 3_

After a fullfilling and tiring 2nd day..we decided to sleep till noon to recharge the lethargy =)
So...around noon, our Sungai Petani trip began~~Starting with of course brunch :

Just around the corner there are 2 quite popular chendoi stall which run by a chinese and an indian respectively...Sadly, the chinese hawker was closed that day. So this is the other stall, the indian version, lol =)

Well, to be honest this place is kinda secluded...you have to be a sungai petani-an to be able to scout out this place...Basically its just a stall that sell quite interesting ice blended drinks :

Kick start the day with :

Then, we set off to Penang, from Seberang Prai...around an hour...(in a ferry!!)
