setting off to Malacca

after about 2hour.....

-our lunch-
Famosa Chicken Rice Shop

1/2 bBq chicken
&
1/2 steam chcicken

bean-curd topped with oyster sauce & soy sauce

chicken rice

asam fish
*wasnt that good though..the gravy was weak*

of course, the famous chicken rice ball
*personally, i don't like it much as the rice texture is kinda wet*

You wont believe how big the double-story restaurant is &
the design concept is old-Chinese-dynasty kinda flavour
wasn't my taste, its cool though!

arhhh....whats best after a hearty meal on a hot Sunday evening??

chendol of course =)

simply awesome to have especially with the temperature on the rise!!
*i prefer the gula melaka compared to the durian, the initial
is more aromatic and sweeter*

Due to some guiltiness of eating too much,
we decided to stroll around....

and we landed ourselves in

oopsy....

A'Famosa of course...the signature landmark of Malacca

-Jonker Street-
amazing...the street came alive as the sun sets down..
variety of stalls mushrooming everywhere around the street.
Anyhow, to my dismay, the choices of food stall is limited
and actually just a few compared to Connaught =(

Hot-dog Waffle

apam balik

with a twist

durian inside....
its cool...& kinda yummy!!! =)

mochi, wasnt that good and kl Petaling Street
popo mochi way better good than this one!!

fried carrot cake *tasteless*

as well as the soya bean too tasteless =(

haha, and we bump into a big pineapple tart in a nyonya cookie shop
no comment, cuz its unedible lol^^

just as we are heading back to our hotel, i saw a very special small stall run by two elderly couple
1 ah ma and 1 ah gong

the "steaming" machine

the "output"
a kinda indian style coconut based caked, that tasted kinda plain with a tingle sensation of sweet, sweet man!!

-the trip wasnt complete if we didn't take the opportunity to try..........-

the all-famous Malacca satay celup

according to "legend" this is the 1st shop that originated satay celup

and

the queue was unbelievable...

after an hour ++ of waiting, salivating...

*didn't take much pic. due to over hungriness and too busy*
but, highly recommendable...its simply delicious and the wait is worth it!!
the service wasnt all that bad too
& they offer seafood at 70 sen per stick once an hour!!
*two-thumbs up*

bye =)
